Valor is seeking a CDL A holder for a day shift position (Monday-Friday) with on-call alternating days and weekends. The role involves operating heavy-duty wreckers, rotators and lowboys to tow and recover a wide range of vehicles and equipment, with on-call duties and a pay scale of $60,000 - $100,000 annually.

Required is Class A CDL with experience in complex recoveries, rigging, load securement, and accurate documentation.

Description

• Operate heavy-duty wreckers, rotators and lowboys to tow, recover and transport tractors, trailers, buses, RVs and heavy equipment.

Physical demands and work environment

• Lift and carry up to 75 lbs (chains, snatch blocks, cable) repeatedly.
• Climb, kneel, crawl under vehicles and stand for long periods.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow and darkness, often beside live traffic.
• Wear required PPE: ANSI Class 3 high-visibility apparel, safety-toe boots, gloves and eye protection.
• Exposure to noise, fuel, fluids and debris at accident scenes.
