Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a mission-driven Driver Heavy Vehicle to join our Aerospace Systems Transportation & Logistics Team at Clearfield, UT. This role requires travel up to 25% and supports B shift (Mon-Thurs, 2pm-12:30am) with potential shift variations.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, 2+ years of heavy driving experience, valid Class A CDL, HazMat endorsement, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• HazMat Endorsement
• Clean MVR (no violations in past 12 months). Must be less than 30 days old from day of request
• Meets all DOT pre-employment requirements (FMCSA Clearinghouse)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access.
• Must be able to pass a New Hire Physical prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks (semi-trailer or equivalent) to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment within industrial areas, over the road (OTR), and local.
• Accountable for safe operations of vehicle and equipment used to facilitate transportation of materials, merchandise, or equipment.
• Ensures proper loading or unloading of materials onto trucks, trailers, and government assets.
• Organize loads to minimize delivery times, reduce waste, and drive efficiency.
• Make minor mechanical adjustments as required and maintain equipment cleanliness.
