Job summary

Custom Truck One Source in Decatur, GA is seeking a Service Technician/Mechanic to support our vocational and utility equipment. This on-site role involves PMs, diagnostics, repair, and inspections on truck-mounted equipment including boom and bucket trucks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with aerial or heavy trucks, a valid driver’s license, and bringing your own tools. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a mechanic with aerial, construction, or heavy/light-duty trucks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own your own mechanic tools.

Responsibilities

• PMs, diagnostics, repair and inspections on vocational equipment.
• Repair and service truck-mounted utility equipment (boom/bucket trucks, diggers, etc.).
• Diagnose diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and controls.
• Maintain records of parts, services and labor; ensure budgets.
• Triage and repair on a variety of manufacturers’ equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and attend monthly safety meetings.
