Ozinga Ready Mix Concrete Inc. is seeking a Mechanic responsible for maintenance of all equipment, including wheel loaders, forklifts, and material handlers, with plant support as needed. A CDL Class B and air brake certification are preferred, with minimum 2 years in heavy truck repair.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Responsibilities include repairing parts, dismantling heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class B preferred; air brake certification preferred.
• Knowledge of repair on suspensions, hydraulics, drivelines, electrical systems, brakes and engines.

Mansioni

• Repair and replace worn parts to support deliveries.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Adjust points, spark plug gaps, valves, distributors, fuel injection, carburetors.
• Lubricate and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Overhaul and test machines to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain and repair gas/diesel/natural gas equipment and trucks.
• Inspect machines to diagnose defects and test after repair.
