Martin’s Peterbilt , a 3rd generation family-owned and operated Peterbilt truck shop, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Lexington, KY .

If you have at least 5 years of diesel mechanic experience and a valid driver’s license , Martin’s Peterbilt wants to hear from you! CAT, Cummins, and / or PACCAR certifications are a big plus. Having a CDL license is a plus.

• Competitive compensation : Flat rate which will earn you between $26 - $42 / hr, based upon your experience, jobs, and hours worked. Many skilled technicians are earning up to $85,000 or more based on their experience and hours worked!

Plus, monthly performance bonuses based on individual and group performance!

• Daytime schedule : Primary hours are Monday - Friday from 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. You will also work every other Saturday for a 4-hour shift.
• Advanced tooling : Martin’s Peterbilt has a shop full of the most advanced tooling resources, which will allow you to do your mechanical work while taking it easier on your body.
• Overhaul and repair heavy duty engines including Caterpillar, Cummins, and Paccar engines.
• Repair clutches, transmissions, differentials, power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Install engines, transmissions, and other components.
• Interact with customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
• Provide instructions and guidance to helpers and apprentices as required.
• Maintain good customer relations and performance standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the shop area.
• Pass required drug screening.
