Henderson Economic Development is seeking a Heavy Machinery Technician to support 3rd shift operations in Henderson, KY. The role focuses on keeping vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses (850T-2,000T) running at peak performance.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ months in industrial maintenance, the ability to read technical schematics, and a valid driver's license with Industrial Maintenance Certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months in industrial maintenance or heavy machinery repair.
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.
• Valid driver's license; Industrial Maintenance Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, and maintain vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses (850T-2,000T).
• Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using schematics and blueprints.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and precision fitting of components.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment to handle large press components.
• Conduct inspections to prevent breakdowns and keep production on schedule.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams for efficient press operation.
