Job summary

Barnhart-Crane is seeking a Branch Engineer to support sales, design and project engineering, with a focus on project engineering. You will develop crane layouts and rigging drawings, and provide hands-on field support to ensure successful project outcomes.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) with a minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, plus strong communication and analytical skills, are essential to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited four-year university.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).

Responsibilities

• Develop crane layouts and rigging drawings for lift plans.
• Create drawings for heavy machinery moves using modular trailers and lifts.
• Provide field walk-downs and equipment lists for bids.
• Support Project Managers and Superintendents on site as required.
• Design custom lifting tools using industry standards.
