Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Lift Crane Operator to join our Albuquerque team. You will operate complex equipment with a focus on safety, set‑ups, and accurate field reporting, including payroll hours and field tickets, in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow state and federal regulations while meeting customer needs; prior Liebherr crane experience and NCCCO LBC license are essential, with NM lattice‑boom licensing preferred and OSHA 10 compliance required.

Qualifications

  • Current crane operating license (NCCCO) LBC.
  • Experience operating Liebherr LR 1600 with Derrick Boom and Luffing Jib – 5 years.
  • Experience operating Liebherr LR 1700 Main Boom – 5 years.
  • Current New Mexico State License Conventional (Lattice Boom) Class I license preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Member of the International Union Of Operating Engineers or willing to join the union.

Responsibilities

  • Operate complex equipment safely and efficiently according to company safety and policies.
  • Complete Field Ticket and submit to local branch office. If other chargeable equipment was used, document it on the Field Ticket.
  • Complete payroll book daily with hours worked and report hours to local branch office no later than 8:00 a.m. every Monday.
  • Periodically review assigned crane and other model cranes service and operation manuals.
  • Read, interpret, and calculate load percentage using the crane’s owner's load charts and operation manual.
  • Program the crane's computer in proper set‑up mode and set up crane on location in a safe and professional manner.
  • Apply proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load.
  • Inspect crane and complete daily and monthly inspection reports before operating the vehicle; submit reports to the local branch office.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Compensation

Based on experience and 7 days a week per diem.

Summary

Ensures safety first, along with safe lifting of the load, proper set‑up of crane, while maintaining customer focus. Follows all State and Federal laws while operating motor vehicles. Follows all safety and environmental policies while performing the job task.
