Coke Farm in San Juan Bautista, CA is seeking an Order Builder for the PM shift. This full-time, non-seasonal role focuses on preparing customer orders in a refrigerated warehouse using WMS for accurate loading onto delivery trucks.

You will meet safety standards, maintain pace of at least 150 boxes per hour, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and contribute to a team that values reliability and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35–45°F).
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors and WMS.
• Proficient English communication, verbal and written.
• Reliable with punctual attendance and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Build product orders in a refrigerated warehouse, meeting a throughput target of 150 boxes per hour.
• Use WMS to retrieve order details, verify locations, update inventory, and record completion.
• Prepare orders for delivery by building pallets and staging them for loading with proper load sequences.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy, completeness, and product condition before shipping.
• Receive and verify pick tickets, locate products, and document discrepancies in WMS.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; operate pallet jacks and forklifts per SOPs.

Additional Compensation Details:

• Starting wages at $19.50 per hour
• Potential 90-day performance-based raise

The Role

(* Full Time / PM Shift / non-seasonal) The Order Builder is responsible for preparing customer orders for delivery with precision and efficiency. You will accurately build and stage orders based on pick tickets and Warehouse Management System (WMS) directives for loading onto delivery trucks, ensuring all orders meet quality and accuracy standards before shipment.

Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Build product orders according to specifications in a refrigerated warehouse environment while maintaining a minimum of 150 boxes per hour, utilizing WMS system guidance for order accuracy and inventory allocation.
• Navigate and utilize the WMS system to retrieve order details, confirm product locations, update inventory status, and record order completion in real-time.
• Prepare customer orders for delivery by building produce pallets, wrapping finished orders, and staging them on the loading dock in accordance with WMS-generated load sequences.
• Perform comprehensive quality control checks on all orders for accuracy, completeness, and product condition before staging, cross-referencing pick tickets with WMS records.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, accurately mark containers, receive and verify incoming pick tickets, and locate products using WMS technology and warehouse equipment.
• Communicate any inventory discrepancies, stocking issues, racking concerns, or equipment maintenance needs to supervisors, documenting findings in the WMS system when applicable.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace throughout your shift, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment including 2-way radio, pallet jack, and forklift in compliance with company safety procedures and WMS-directed staging locations.

Peripheral Duties:

• Special projects assigned by the Department Manager or Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work consistently in a refrigerated environment (35–45 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Capacity to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift
• Ability to comprehend and follow detailed written and verbal instructions from supervisors and the Warehouse Management System
• Proficiency in basic English communication, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality; consistent attendance is essential to operational success
• Strong commitment to observing and following all safety procedures and reporting potentially unsafe conditions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
• Willingness to take direction from management and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar inventory software
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or 2-way radios
• Previous experience in a cold storage, refrigerated, or warehouse environment
• Familiarity with order fulfillment, packing, or logistics operations
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

Physical And Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse setting with temperature fluctuations
• Capable of working the assigned PM shift schedule with flexibility for operational needs
