Yates Construction is seeking a Scaffold Builder for its industrial projects across locations. You will erect and dismantle scaffolding, read plans, and ensure safety while working at varying elevations.

The role requires NCCER scaffold certifications and several years of heavy industrial experience, with emphasis on accuracy, tool use, and teamwork. You will follow Yates safety procedures and contribute to project progress.

Qualifikationen

• Read ISO's, blueprints and P&IDs to guide scaffold work.
• Four or more years of heavy industrial scaffold experience.
• NCCER scaffold journeyman level II certification.
• NCCER ‘Performance’ scaffold journeyman verification.
• Experience with Level I scaffold tasks and safety procedures.

Aufgaben

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and inspect components.
• Load/unload scaffold components and equipment.
• Set up hoisting equipment for scaffold components.
• Access sites using ropes, harnesses, ladders.
• Assemble scaffolding from drawings; bolt/screw sections together.
• Verify alignment with plumb bob or level.
• Cut/trim/drill scaffold components as needed.
• Select gear like cables, pulleys per load and schedule.
• Tear down scaffolding and install supporting structures.
• Follow Yates safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
