Corrosion Resitance, Ltd. seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager on heavy highway bridge painting projects.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, clients, engineers, and regulators, track progress, manage administrative tasks, and help maintain thorough project documentation throughout the lifecycle of complex bridge

Formación

• Experience with heavy civil construction projects, preferably bridge painting or protective coatings.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and budgeting abilities.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, schedules and budgets for bridge painting projects.
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, clients, engineers and government agencies.
• Monitor progress against schedule and budget; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage subcontractors, track work and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain daily status reports, submittals, RFIs, change orders and close-out documentation.

Job Summary

The AssistantProjectManager(APM) will support the ProjectManagerin all aspects of heavy highway bridgepaintingprojects. The APM will be involved inprojectplanning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy civil construction practices, specifically related to bridgepaintingand protection, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• ProjectPlanning and Coordination:
  • Assist in developing comprehensiveprojectplans, schedules, and budgets for bridgepaintingprojects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including field crews, and external stakeholders such as subcontractors, clients, engineers, and government agencies.
  • Facilitateprojectcoordination meetings and maintain effective communication channels throughout theprojectlifecycle.
• ProjectExecution and Oversight:
  • Monitorprojectprogress against the schedule and budget, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in managing subcontractors, tracking their work, and ensuring compliance withprojectrequirements and safety standards.
  • Oversee daily construction operations and ensure efficient resource allocation, including personnel, materials, and equipment, in conjunction with the Superintendent.
• Financial and Administrative Management:
  • Support theProjectManagerin managingprojectfinances, including reviewing and coding invoices, tracking costs, and preparing payment requests.
  • Assist in developing and administering subcontractor and purchase order change orders.
  • Maintain accurateprojectdocumentation, including daily status and safety reports, submittals, RFIs, change order logs, and close-out documentation.
• Safety and Quality Control:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA standards andproject-specific safety plans.
  • Implement and monitor theprojectquality control plan, ensuring thepaintingwork meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct safety inspections and promote safe working practices on the job
