CraneWorks/RentalWorks in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Truck Driver to safely transport heavy construction and crane equipment between locations and job sites. The role requires operating detachable low-boy trailers and ensuring loads are properly secured.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with RT cranes, route planning, permitting, and adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations, with a focus on safety, reliability, and on-time delivery in various weather and site

Qualifications

• Proven experience hauling heavy equipment, especially RT cranes, on detachable low-boy trailers.
• Strong knowledge of loading, weight distribution, and securement practices.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and oversize/overweight permits.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-haul tractor-trailer combinations including detachable low-boys.
• Load, secure, and transport RT cranes and other heavy equipment per regulations.
• Plan routes considering load dimensions, permits, and road restrictions.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to schedule deliveries and returns.
• Maintain logs, inspections, and comply with safety procedures.
