Position Summary

The heavy haul company driver will deliver skid-mounted compressor units, and other oilfield-related equipment in and around the Dallas/Ft Worth area using company-owned equipment. This is a very hands-on job and requires knowledge of managing oversized/permitted loads and securing loads using winch, chain-down and boom-down methods. This is a DOT safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures both on the road and at the customer job site
• Complete JSA and other safety-related requirements of customer upon arrival/departure of delivery
• Must have strong communication skills as you will act as a company representative when out on the job site
• Assist with determining the scope of work requirements – including what permits will be required prior to transport
• Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload

Requirements:

• Class A CDL required, a minimum of 3 years driving experience required by our insurance carrier
• Heavy haul equipment experience required
• Previous winch experience
• Mechanically inclined
• Clean MVR
• Must have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
• Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and vehicle maintenance
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening test, DOT Physical, and background check
• Participation in the DOT Clearinghouse required
