Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Carryall Driver for local runs with occasional over-the-road work. You will transport construction machinery and other large loads, ensuring secure loading and on-time delivery while complying with DOT rules.

This role requires CDL Class A, at least 2 years of experience, a clean driving record, and knowledge of safety standards. You will plan routes, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch to coordinate pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate lowboy trailers to transport heavy and oversized equipment safely.
• Inspect vehicles and trailers before and after trips for safety and compliance.
• Secure loads using chains, binders, and other equipment.
• Plan routes considering load dimensions, weight limits, and road rules.
• Maintain logs of driving hours and inspections in DOT format.
• Communicate with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety protocols.
