Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a professional truck driver to transport construction materials to customer and job sites in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The role requires performing pre/post trip inspections, maintaining logs, and adhering to DOT regulations while delivering safely and efficiently. The candidate should have appropriate CDL and license, be able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends, and comply with company safety and maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required for Low bed/low boy.
• Valid Class B CDL required for Tilt and flat bed.
• In compliance with all DOT physical requirements.
• Previous experience is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch to transport construction materials to customer or job site.
• Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections and report problems.
• Drive to destination per regulations and road knowledge.
• Maintain truck log per state/federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicate site conditions and traffic issues promptly.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform required repairs.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
