Job summary

CicKo Transportation, based near Pittsburgh, seeks a skilled Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to join the Rising Sun, MD team. You will haul oversized loads, perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload equipment, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Requirements include a clean driving record, a minimum of 3 years’ heavy equipment experience, Lo-Boy handling, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Wages are competitive with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering heavy equipment and oversized loads
• Class A CDL with clean driving record
• Experience with Lo-Boy equipment

• Manual transmission driving experience required

Responsibilities

• Deliver, load and unload parts and equipment for customers
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and location of O&M guide
• Recommend equipment and related items to customers
• Perform vehicle inspections daily and check fuel and fluid levels
• Top off and record fluid levels and grease all trailer joints
• Complete inspection paperwork and submit to supervisor daily
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records

We are actively seeking an experiencedClass A CDL Heavy Haul Driverto add to our team at CICKO based out of Rising Sun, MD. A minimum of 3 years’ experience deliveringheavy equipment, industrial fasteners, parts, and other industrial equipment locally and throughout the Mid-Atlantic markets. Hours can vary depending on the customer’s needs day to day.

JOB DUTIES

• Deliver, load and unload parts and equipment for customers.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and location of O&M guide.
• Recommend equipment and related items to customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections daily, as well as checking gas, oil, and other fluid levels.
• Top off and record fluid levels as necessary and grease all joints on trailers.
• Complete the necessary paperwork for vehicle inspections and turn it in to supervisor daily.
• Maintain accurate, detailed delivery and pickup records.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Class A CDL
• Must have clean, safe driving record
• Oversized load experience
• Manual transmission driving experience required
• Lo-Boy experience
• Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and physical exam.
• Know specifics & applications of rental equipment inventory, so you can answer questions upon delivery
• Familiar with equipment hauling and DOT requirements and regulations
• The work is typically very physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required.
