CicKo Transportation, based out of Rising Sun, MD, is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to join its team. The role focuses on delivering heavy equipment locally and throughout the Mid-Atlantic, with varied hours to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of heavy equipment transportation experience, a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT requirements. Pre-employment drug screening and physicals are required, with competitive compensation and

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering heavy equipment and industrial equipment across Mid-Atlantic markets.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam.
• Clean, safe driving record required.
• Oversized load experience and Lo-Boy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, load and unload parts and equipment for customers.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and location of guides.
• Recommend equipment and related items to customers.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and check fluids.
• Record fluid levels and grease trailer joints as needed.
• Complete vehicle inspection paperwork daily and submit to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.

We are actively seeking an experienced Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to add to our team at CICKO based out of Rising Sun, MD. A minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering heavy equipment, industrial fasteners, parts, and other industrial equipment locally and throughout the Mid-Atlantic markets. Hours can vary depending on the customer’s needs day to day.

JOB DUTIES

• Deliver, load and unload parts and equipment for customers.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and location of O&M guide.
• Recommend equipment and related items to customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections daily, as well as checking gas, oil, and other fluid levels.
• Top off and record fluid levels as necessary and grease all joints on trailers.
• Complete the necessary paperwork for vehicle inspections and turn it in to supervisor daily.
• Maintain accurate, detailed delivery and pickup records.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Class A CDL
• Must have clean, safe driving record
• Oversized load experience
• Manual transmission driving experience required
• Lo-Boy experience
• Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and physical exam.
• Know specifics & applications of rental equipment inventory, so you can answer questions upon delivery
• Familiar with equipment hauling and DOT requirements and regulations
• The work is typically very physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required.
