Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record and 2–5 years of heavy haul/lowboy experience preferred.
• Experience loading heavy equipment and securing loads per DOT rules.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and prioritize safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport heavy equipment using a lowboy trailer.
• Load/unload excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders.
• Secure loads with chains, binders, and tie-downs.
• Plan safe routes with oversize/overweight permit requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT logs and FMCSA compliance.
• Ensure equipment is transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Communicate with dispatch and field personnel regarding deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport heavy construction equipment using a lowboy trailer
• Load and unload excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and other heavy equipment
• Secure loads using chains, binders, and other approved tie-down methods
• Plan safe travel routes while complying with oversize and overweight permit requirements
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections
• Maintain DOT logs and comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations
• Ensure equipment is transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Communicate with dispatch and field personnel regarding deliveries and scheduling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• 2–5 years of heavy haul, lowboy, or equipment transport experience preferred
• Experience operating and loading heavy construction equipment
• Strong understanding of load securement and DOT regulations
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Excellent attention to safety and detail
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
