Job summary

Fisher Industries in the Phoenix area is seeking a Class A Heavy Haul Truck Driver to transport oversize and overweight equipment to job sites. You will operate, load, and secure loads while reading permits and ensuring safety and compliance.

This role includes pre/post trip checks, routine maintenance, overnight travel, and meeting DOT requirements. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available after 90 days, and Fisher Industries supports safety and reliability on large infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain them.
• 3–5 years of heavy haul experience.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Operates, loads, and unloads oversized/overweight equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure secure loads.
• Read and review route permits and safety provisions.
• Perform pre- and post-trip checks.
• Maintain and do minor servicing on equipment as directed.
• Follow DOT and Fisher policies on safety.
