Southland Holdings in Bartow, Florida is seeking a Heavy Haul Transport Driver to join our team. Responsibilities include operating tractor/lowboy trailers, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring safety and DOT compliance on every job site.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of CDL Truck Driver experience, heavy haul exposure, Hazmat and Heavy Haul certification preferred. The role requires overtime, travel to locations, and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• CDL Truck Driver experience required.
• 5 years minimum CDL trucking experience.
• Hazmat and Heavy Haul certification preferred.
• Ability to operate tractor and lowboy safely.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Drive tractor/lowboy trailer (7 or 9 axles) and work in yard/terminal.
• Pickup and deliver equipment between job sites; collect parts as needed.
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment and ensure secure loads.
• Ensure safe operation of heavy haul vehicle and mobilization of equipment.
• Perform DOT inspections and comply with regulations.
• Overtime may be required weekly; travel to job sites as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
