Job summary

Kinetic Custom Trailers in Waco, TX is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and finish custom trailer components in a fast-paced shop environment. You will perform multi-process welding, interpret drawings, and help maintain production quality while supporting team objectives.

The role emphasizes safety, dependability, and collaboration. Prior trailer experience is a plus; competitive hourly pay reflects experience and proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in heavy manufacturing or structural fabrication.
• Flux or Metal Core welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, or schematics preferred.
• Dependability and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on heavy gauge steel using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
• Lay out and cut complex subassemblies and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Fit and complete final welds and multi-pass welds per AWS D1.1.
• Position pieces to be welded in jigs and fixtures; use measuring tools.
• Inspect welds and maintain quality records; support production timelines.
• Possibly train other employees on new tasks; ensure PPE compliance.
