Job summary

The paraprofessional for this classroom will provide individual and small group instruction to students in all instructional areas and assist in planning instruction for the program. You will provide daily assessments and feedback as part of the instructional program and collaborate as a team member for the WEMOCO teaching staff, supporting classroom operations throughout the 10-month year.

Minimum two years' experience in Heavy Equipment Operation Maintenance or Welding is required, with Civil

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years' experience/training in Heavy Equipment Operation Maintenance or Welding.
• Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title of Student Behavioral Assistant, Teacher Aide, or School Aide.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalency (Teacher Aide) and/or Associate's degree (Student Behavioral Assistant)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group instruction to students in all instructional areas.
• Provide instructional leadership in the teacher's absence.
• Assist in the planning of instruction for the program.
• Provide students with assessments and feedback daily as part of the instructional programs.
• Function as a team member for the WEMOCO teaching staff.
