About the Position:

Hiring a Heavy Equipment Warranty Specialist to assist service departments warranty rules and requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Learn and understand internal company systems
  • Apply warranty guidelines and technical information to service invoices to develop warranty claims
  • Understand OEM warranty systems to enter/process warranty claims
  • Maintain claim tracking spreadsheets and documentation
  • Process warranty credit memos/checks to settle invoices
  • Assist in other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:
  • Prior supervisory experience over a technical or parts staff in heavy equipment.
  • Possesses good interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safe job practices & regulations related to OSHA and MSHA
  • Aptitude for repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing equipment in a shop environment.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and mechanical work for repairing equipment.
  • Volvo heavy equipment experience preferred.
