The position requires a CDL Class A, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work a rotating schedule. Certifications upon hire or within 12 months are anticipated, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience operating transfer station/landfill equipment.
• Valid Florida CDL Class A license required or must obtain at start of employment.
• Must obtain Treeo Center Landfill Operator Certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely in a high-volume transfer station setting.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain records.
• Assist with site operations to meet permits and safety standards.
• Work varied shifts Mon-Fri 6am-6pm and Sat 6am-1:30pm, with overtime as needed.
• Maintain litter control and optimize equipment utilization.
