Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an experienced Equipment Trainer to lead hands-on and classroom training for construction equipment operators, promote safety, and maintain qualifications and records.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 5+ years operating heavy equipment, and a proven ability to teach, coach, and mentor field crews; OSHA or trainer certifications are preferred. Strong documentation and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• OSHA certifications or equipment trainer certifications preferred.
• Previous training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on and classroom training for employees operating construction equipment.
• Train and authorize operators on safe operating procedures, equipment inspections, and company policies.
• Provide instruction on startup, operation, maintenance, and shutdown procedures.
