Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on construction and industrial equipment. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and accurate record-keeping to ensure reliable operation and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has a CDL, 3+ years of experience in construction/industrial mechanics, and strong mechanical skills with proficiency in diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

  • Class B or Class A CDL.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the construction or industrial sector.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail in performing inspections and repairs.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Customer service skills when interacting with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on construction and industrial equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they cause equipment failure.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system problems.
  • Replace faulty parts and components, ensuring proper installation and calibration.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.

Job Summary

The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for conducting maintenance and repairs on AIS Infrastructure's construction and industrial equipment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation and optimal performance of the equipment. The Mechanic must possess a strong knowledge of mechanical systems and adhere to AIS Infrastructure's safety standards and protocols.

  • Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on construction and industrial equipment.
