Job summary

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri and seeks an Equipment Technician to troubleshoot, service, and repair heavy machinery in our shop. The role includes hands-on work on CAT earthmoving equipment and requires travel for training or to support other locations.

The hourly base rate ranges from $24.62 to $32.02, with benefits including a 401(k) match, medical and dental coverage, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, test and adjust assemblies.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
