Job summary

MasterTech in Kilgore, TX is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop and field service setting. The role requires 3+ years as a Diesel Mechanic, strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read blueprints and use diagnostic scanning tools.

Day shift 7AM-4PM, with overtime available; comprehensive benefits, 401K, boot and tool allowance, company vehicle and gas card for field

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge on construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc. equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop setting.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field when required.
• Work in a shop and field service environment to support operations.

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in the Kilgore TX area.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop and field service environment.

Compensation:

• $26.00 - $35.00/hour+ based on experience, training, certifications, etc.
• Comprehensive benefits plan. Company pays 100% of employee premiums. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, etc.

Shift:

• Day shift, roughly 7AM - 4PM, (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.

Key Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
