Job summary

MasterTech in Amarillo, TX is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians for both shop and field service roles. You will maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy machinery in both in-shop and on-site settings.

The role requires 3+ years as a Diesel Mechanic or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency with diagnostic scanners and welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Experience with construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping equipment is preferred.

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians in the Amarillo TX area. We have both Shop and Field Service opportunities available.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop and field service environment.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $46.00/hour+ based on experience, training, certifications, etc.
• Comprehensive benefits plan. Company pays 100% of employee premiums. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, etc.

Shift:

• Day shift, roughly 7AM - 4PM, (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.

Key Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
