Job summary

MasterTech in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking Heavy Equipment Technicians to maintain, diagnose and repair a range of heavy machinery in a shop. You will work a day shift with 7AM start times, contributing to uptime and service quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience, a Diesel Technology program is preferred but not required, and you should be familiar with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. CDL is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Diesel Technology program completion preferred but not required.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with diagnostic software such as Cummins InSite, DDDL, JPro, CAT ET, Service Advisor.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred, not required.

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop setting.
• Perform diagnostics and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

MasterTech is on the search for Heavy Equipment Technicians in the Grand Rapids, MI area.

The successful Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, forestry, agricultural, aerial, mining, etc.) in a shop setting.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $45.00/hour
• Retirement savings plan
• PTO

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday. 7AM start time.

Key Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Completion of a Diesel Technology program preferred, not required.
