Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking a skilled Case Construction Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel machinery. You will perform precise diagnostics, repairs, and reconditioning according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship for customers.

You will document findings and communicate timelines with the Service Manager, team, and customers while engaging in ongoing technical training to stay current with product knowledge and service capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• Ability to travel to offsite training facilities, as needed.
• Must have own tools.
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and recondition diesel machinery per manufacturer specifications.
• Document findings, repair needs, and timelines; communicate with Service Manager, team, and customers.

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments
