Job summary

Warren Equipment Company is seeking a Machine Technician I to provide high quality repair service on equipment and respond to customer needs in a timely manner. The role emphasizes safe operation, accurate documentation, and hands-on assembly, testing and adjustment of components.

Qualified candidates should have knowledge of engines and fluid systems, be comfortable with diagnostic software and various tools, and be able to obtain necessary certifications and tooling.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Familiar with basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and diagnostic software.
• Ability to provide accurate information to management for quoting.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
• Work safely and follow all WCAT safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision; complete Level I training timely.
