Job summary

Quality Equipment & Parts, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Shop Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment in a dealership shop.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems on forestry and construction equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure machines are returned to service safely and efficiently. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic/diesel systems, and the ability to read service manuals and use diagnostic

Qualifications

• Experience working on heavy equipment, diesel engines, or similar machinery preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read service manuals and diagnostic information.
• Ability to work safely in a shop environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Welding experience is required.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Repair and replace components according to manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Document work performed on service work orders.
• Communicate repair findings with service advisors and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety and shop procedures.
