Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling in Wenatchee, WA seeks a Shop Technician who enjoys turning wrenches and expanding skills. You’ll work on all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment in the shop, performing repairs to maximize uptime.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctions, rebuild or replace components such as transmissions, hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems. Tools must be provided, and strong teamwork with experienced technicians is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions in the shop.
• Perform repairs or component replacements to maximize uptime.
• Rebuild or replace complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and steering mechanisms.
• Welding and fabrication work may be required for certain repairs.
