Job summary

National Equipment Dealers, LLC is seeking a full-time technician to diagnose, repair, and service off-road heavy construction equipment. You will work on excavators, material handlers, wheel loaders, and other equipment, performing diagnostics, testing, and preventive maintenance.

Qualified applicants have at least 5 years in heavy equipment and familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems. Cummins certifications are preferred; bright, safety-conscious technicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment.
• Cummins Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and testing of off-road heavy construction equipment.
• Perform start-ups and inspect low to high-voltage electrical systems.

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

Pay: $20 to $35/ hour

Qualifications

Preferred that applicant is Cummins Certified.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment and show proficiency in:

• Diagnostics and manufacture diagnostic software
• Hydraulics and repair of hydraulics
• Electrical systems

This position will be responsible for servicing off-road heavy construction equipment such as:

• Excavators
• Material handlers
• Wheel loaders
• And many more off-highway trucks/equipment

We represent some of the top brands in the industry including, Hyundai, Construction Equipment, Bell Off-Road Trucks, Manitou, Sakai, Dynapac and other products.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technicians are responsible for diagnostics, testing, performing start-ups, inspecting low to high-voltage electrical systems, and moderately complex relay calibration and power metering
• Diagnose fault codes and perform necessary repairs as required
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Keep detailed records of all work performed for asset management and work order system
• Record and track time worked
• Take photos and videos of the repair process to coincide with your detailed work logs
• Assist service manager with additional duties as needed
