Qualifications

• 2-3 years of shop/field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical theories understanding.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and independence.
• Must obtain forklift license.
• Must furnish tools suitable for heavy equipment repair.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs in shop or field (pumps, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, HVAC, electrical).
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate with service manager regularly.
• Maintain daily truck inspection logs and keep area clean.
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication for daily reports.
• Use computer tools to transmit information via email.
