Job summary

Rudd Equipment Company is seeking motivated Service Technicians to diagnose issues and perform repairs on heavy equipment across shop and field settings. You will work on hydraulic, electrical, drive-train, and pneumatic systems while following safety regulations and company values.

Depending on location and expertise, duties include field service, welding and fabrication, and potential overtime. Must travel and obtain DOT certification; strong troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical information from schematics.
• OWI/driver qualifications: valid driving record and DOT certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot heavy equipment to identify mechanical deficiencies.
• Perform repairs on engine hydraulics, drive trains, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Weld, fabricate, and modify parts and structures as needed.
• Source and order parts; perform field repairs without supervision.
• Adhere to safety standards, DOT regulations, and company procedures.
• Travel and work in shop or field environments; overtime may be required.
