Job summary

Bramco Group in Blytheville, AR seeks a skilled technician to repair a wide range of heavy equipment, from complete overhauls to minor fixes. You will diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble machines, test operation, and ensure leak-free, job-ready units.

The role requires a high school diploma (2-year technical preferred), strong communication, basic math, and computer/Microsoft Office proficiency; some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the heavy equipment industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication; basic math skills.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office; diagnostic software experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and successfully complete the apprenticeship program comprised of week-long training sessions and on the job training for a total of 24 months.
• Troubleshoot equipment problem/diagnose failure.
• Perform diagnostic functions, check pressures, check voltage, locate source of noise or vibration.
• Disassemble machine, order parts, make repairs, assemble machine, check machine operation make sure repairs are complete and confirm problem is fixed; unit has no leaks, and is work ready.
• Clean parts, scrape gaskets, prep for assembly.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work environment.
• Travel to jobsites and vendor training sessions as needed.
