Job summary

BRAMCO GROUP in Springdale, AR seeks a skilled technician to repair a range of equipment from complete overhauls to minor fixes, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics and related systems. The role includes on-site testing, possible dyno work, and installations on various machinery.

The candidate should have a high school diploma (2-year tech degree or military training preferred) and at least 5 years in heavy equipment, with a valid license and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2 year technical degree or military training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the heavy equipment industry or related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent written and oral communication and basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient with a computer, including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Know-how of equipment operations and mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problem/diagnose failure
• Perform diagnostic functions and check pressures, voltages, noises
• Disassemble machine, order parts, repair, reassemble and test operation
• Clean parts, scrape gaskets, prep for assembly
• Responsible for a company vehicle and travel daily
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work environment
• Travel to jobsites and vendor training sessions as needed
• Over time as needed
