DRP Truck & Equipment in Cadiz, OH seeks a skilled Heavy Equipment Service Technician to join our team on-site. You will service a diverse range of heavy equipment and trucks, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep equipment at peak performance.

Ideal candidates have proven diesel/heavy equipment experience, strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a heavy equipment or diesel technician.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Own a personal set of professional hand tools.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and trucks for safe operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes and inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance documentation.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify issues before major repairs.
• Collaborate with service team to prioritize and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
