Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Manufacturing Heavy Equipment Processor at our equipment processing center in Santa Paula, CA. Starting pay is $20.00 an hour. You will load/unload construction equipment, operate lift trucks and cranes, and move equipment to support logistics operations.

This role requires the ability to read shipping documents, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather. A valid driver’s license is required to move units from the factory to storage or

Qualifications

Ability to operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
Ability to read and interpret shipping documentation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard.
Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising attachments to facilitate transport.
Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions.
Read and interpret bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documents.
