Job summary

Ring Power Corporation is seeking a Painter II to work in the service department in Florida. You will paint with enamels, polyurethanes and epoxies, performing tasks from cleaning to detailing.

With supervision, you will complete end-to-end painting processes, maintain a clean work area, and follow contamination control guidelines. Training and safety remain priorities as you support the team and manage costs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years of experience as a painter.
• Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing.
• Completed required training to be designated Painter II.
• Moderate level capability in computer use and MS Office or dealer software.
• Not required but highly desired: proficiency with computers and dealer software.
• Updating knowledge every 1-2 years.

Responsibilities

• Paints with enamels, polyurethanes, acrylic enamels, epoxies, airless and conventional systems.
• Performs end-to-end painting process: cleaning, sand blasting, body work, prep, paint and detailing.
• Attends and completes required training classes; stays updated on industry changes.
• Maintains neat work area and follows contamination control guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintains tools and equipment (paint guns, pumps, pots) and performs shop maintenance.
• Supports team and contributes to on-time task completion while controlling costs.
• Monitors expenses vs estimates and reports overruns to supervisor.
• Work schedule may include nights, holidays and weekends.
