Job summary

Reworld Waste in Danvers, MA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely process inbound materials and refuse through our industrial disposal process. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, weigh and label containers, and assist with repairs and site maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year minimum experience operating industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials through safe operation of industrial equipment (forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, etc.).
• Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers as necessary.
• Safely operate equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor.
• Follow housekeeping practices at all facilities and work areas.
• Exterior site maintenance including litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention.
• Traffic control for incoming/outgoing traffic.
• Assist facility mechanics with equipment repairs.
• Additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
