Strittmatter Companies in Manassas Park, VA is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with 3+ years of field experience to operate dozers, excavators, and loaders safely and efficiently.

You will follow safety policies, coordinate with site management, and ensure equipment is well maintained. OSHA 10 is required and the ability to pass a background check is essential; overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of operating machinery/equipment in construction or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Must successfully complete drug screening and background check.
• Must have OSHA 10.
• May be required to lift, carry, or push/pull supplies weighing 50lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company safety policies and avoid hazards and obstructions.
• Operate equipment efficiently and follow on-site management instructions.
• Follow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements.
• Move/load material using dozers, excavators, loaders, etc.

Job description

Strittmatter Companies is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience operating machinery and equipment in a construction or similar environment. The Heavy Equipment operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating one or more types of large construction equipment such as Dozers, Excavators, and Loaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to company safety policies including taking specific action to avoid other workers, other equipment, potential obstructions and marked or unmarked utility lines.
• Operate equipment in an efficient manner and follow instructions of on-site management.
• Follow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements.
• Move and/or load material utilizing dozers, excavators, loaders, etc.
• Ensure Equipment is safely stored and secured when not in use.

QUALIFICATIONS:

PAY: up to $35.00hr, Overtime availability
