Qualifications

• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or six months of related experience.
• Able to pass practical skills test for heavy equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, rollers, and other heavy equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and company safety policies.
• Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance.
• Assist laborers and supervisors as needed.
• Maintain clean and properly parked equipment.
• Report maintenance needs to shop foreman.
