You will operate heavy equipment safely on underground utility and trenchless projects, perform daily inspections, assist with trenching and pipe work, load materials, and support the crew to keep jobs moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience required.
• Experience in underground utility construction or excavation preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background, and DOT medical.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on underground utility and trenchless jobs.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic upkeep.
• Work with ground personnel to dig, bed, and backfill trenches.
• Cut, fit, and seal piping; ensure proper trench depth and grade.
• Assist with installation of water, storm, and sanitary sewer pipe.
• Support crew with physical labor and jobsite tasks; load/unload materials.
