Job summary

Interstate Waste Services, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to load, push and transfer waste materials at our transfer station. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operation while working with a team and taking initiative.

Requirements include at least 2 years as an Equipment Operator and high school diploma; English fluency is required, Spanish is a plus. The role is on-site with exposure to a loud industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as Equipment Operator required.
• Experience in sanitation industry strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English; Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, bucket loaders, other machinery).
• Inspect equipment and follow safety standards.
• Load transfer trailers to target weights and maintain flow.
