What You’ll Do:

• Promote Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products efficiently.
• Inspect Equipment: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete relevant documentation accurately.
• Maintain Equipment: Check and maintain vehicle fluids and assist in minor maintenance tasks.
• Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings: Oversee plant operations and report any maintenance or adjustments needed for safety.

Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of principles of operating and servicing heavy equipment is preferred.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime and extended hours, outdoors in all weather, and tolerate loud noises.
