Job summary

The Town of Pecos City is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator II to perform complex construction and maintenance tasks using a range of heavy equipment. This role supports roadwork, trenching, and site preparation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will conduct routine inspections, input data into logs, and monitor equipment gauges to ensure safe operation. A valid Texas Class B license is required, with Class A preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of operating various types of heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of safety rules and ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Understanding GPS systems and basic math calculations.

Responsibilities
