Job summary

The H&K Group, Pottstown Division, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Pottstown, PA. This role focuses on operating heavy equipment to meet daily production goals while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school OR six months of related experience and/or training
• Able to pass practical skills test for heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, and loaders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment to achieve daily production goals
• Adheres to OSHA and H&K safety policies while operating equipment
• Performs daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Cleans and stores equipment after use and notifies foreman of maintenance needs
• Maintains safe work environment and follows PPE requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned
